Roadmap

Here you can see an up to date roadmap of planned new functionalities in RubyFPV and a tentative update schedule.
Minor new functionalities and ongoning performance improvments are not included in this roadmap. They are done on an ongoing basis.

Next update:

• A) Video latency improvments (lower);
• B) Radio links performance improvments;
• C) Regular WiFi mode on the VRx to fowrward data/video to regular WiFi enabled devices (tentative);
• D) Support for NXP hardware ecosystem;
• E) Other minor functionalities and improvments;

Update +2:

• A) Record and provide offline access to gyroflow data (on supported hardware);
• B) Record and provide offline access to telemetry data;
• C) Other minor functionalities and improvments;

• A) Dual/Multi camera support;

• Support for 3D OSD, for when using 3D video mode SBS;

• Support for motorized zoom on selected hardware;
• Support for Ardupilot missions;
• Support for multi vehicles missions (combined with relay mode and PIP);
• Support for GPS on ground stations/controllers for follow me mode;
• Support for gyro on ground stations/controllers in order to control camera pan/tilt;
